Las Vegas: Pre Race

Welcome Race Fans!! The Xfinity race is about to get underway after a about a 30 min delay for rain... In the desert, of all places. Nascar needs a break from the foul weather. In fact, the rain has come again, as somewhat predicted by the looks of the radar. Although, now the weather is breaking up once again and the cars are back on the pit lane.

Tomorrow's race from Vegas is at 330pm EST. Don't forget to tinker with your picks and put that guy in that's gonna scrape the wall early & give me some more points against you. The starting grid was set by owners points from last season. In the event of the Q session being rained out like today, during the first 3 races of the season, they use the prior year's final owner standings. That put's last night's winner, Kyle Busch in the pole position. ENEMY DRIVER was the first winner of the 2020 campaign! Congrats on the first win of the season. 2019 DIT3 Champ, JuJuBeeSRacing won the first Wave Arounders (DIT3 Champions League) match of the season as well. How long into this season before we get our first repeat winner? A few notes for the Debris In Turn 3 Championship, but before I get to that, let me extend another congrats to John on FB/ Team Alabama Gang for winning the Daytona hat in the giveaway we were doing this week. Get in touch w/us within 24 hours w/shipping info or we're going to pick another winner!) We are going to do more of these. Check the scheddy for the next podcast and the next giveaway.

Back to some DIT3 bookkeeping.. We want to say thanks just one more time to Rubbins' Racin' for taking care of the snafu in the settings leading into the beginning of the season. We're all fixed & looking good. Also, right now we made a change to WINS as the tiebreaker. Before the wk5 cutoff, I may switch it to total finish position points, in the event that nobody chooses a winning car. We'll go back and forth in the R & D to see what we will do. Also, some salaries are a little skewed. I did not reset them this week, I did prior to the season, but Poole & Suarez are particularly high. Again, I didn't reset them this week should someone had already made picks this week, but early next week, I'll see if the recalculation will bring them more in line w/their current cars and performance. Nothing that is too disruptive to knock us off the course to a really great season.

I hope everyone has checked out the website. Dan and I did another podcast, but have had some technical gremlins getting goin. But we do a fantasy spot and like to feature some of the DIT3 winners and notable finishers. Like and Follow the league on social media to and join the Nascar jibber jabber. Check out "Driver Intros" on the message board. Get some team pics next to your names going to TEAM > My Team Settings. Let the competitors know a little about yourself so we know who we're battling with in the standings. And then who knows, maybe we all end up at a big race some time. A lot of us are going to be at the Islip 300 this spring at Riverhead Raceway. Come out for that classic race reborn and chill w/DIT3.

We're keeping Ryan Newman in our thoughts as the NCS races at Vegas. And we're also keeping an eye on Chomp Chastain from chomping checkers away from competing teams w/bonsai moves on the race track.

Let's go Racing

PS. Still raining in the desert... Un-freaking-believable
